sanctioned under this loan is Rs. 5 lakh for businesses in the rural areas, Rs.
10 lakh for businesses in the semi-urban areas, Rs. 50 lakh for businesses in
the urban areas and Rs. 1 crore for businesses in the metro areas
Interest
·
Loans up to Rs. 50,000: The effective rate of interest for this loan is 10.20%
·
Loans Above Rs. 50,000 up to
Rs. 5 lakh: The effective rate of
interest for this loan is 11.20%
·
Loans Above Rs. 5 lakh up to
Rs. 10 lakh: The effective rate of
interest for this loan is 12.20%
·
Loans Above Rs. 10 lakh: The effective rate of interest for this loan is 12.95%
Repayment
·
These loans need to be repaid
within 5 years including the moratorium period of 3 to 6 months
Security Needed
·
The bank asks for hypothecation
of assets acquired or created under the loan as prime security
·
The bank also asks the borrower
for equitable mortgage of land and/or building as collateral
·
The bank may ask for guarantee
under CGTMSE coverage

This term loan is for all Small
and Micro enterprises in the metro, urban, semi-urban and rural areas
Borrower Contribution to Total Cost (Margin Money)
·
The bank charges minimum 15% of
the total loan amount as margin
Note: Margin money refers to the amount the borrower contributes
to the overall amount required. The bank will cover the rest. So, if the total
amount needed is Rs. 20 lakh, you will have to contribute 20% which comes to
Rs. 4 lakh. The bank will provide the balance of Rs. 16 lakh.

500

Loan amount Above Rs. 1 lakh up
to Rs. 5 lakh: The processing fee levied by
the bank on this loan is Rs. 1,000

Loan amount Above Rs. 5 lakh up
to Rs. 10 lakh: The processing fee levied
by the bank on this loan is Rs. 1,500

Loan amount Above Rs. 10 lakh
up to Rs. 50 lakh: The processing fee
levied by the bank on this loan is Rs. 5,000

Loan amount Above Rs. 50 lakh: The processing fee levied by the bank on this loan is Rs.
