Small Business Scheme 2023 – Up to 90% financial assistance for unit cost of Rs.2.00 lakh.

Note: Under SCA Group Scheme a unit can avail funds up to Rs.5.00 crores at a cost of Rs.2.00 lakhs.

Laghu Vyavsay 2023 Major Subsidies

  1. Credit Guarantee Investment Yojana/ Credit Guarantee Micro and Small Enterprise Fund Scheme. – Small loans are required to start micro and small scale enterprises, which no bank gives easily without any third party security and some land documents. The government has used this scheme to solve this problem.   Under this scheme, the government has already fixed certain regular loan limits. The amount of which is fixed up to Rs.100 crore by the government, which the applicant will get. For the fulfillment of which both the Central Government and SIDBI will jointly provide the amount on 4:1 basis. The government will provide this amount to companies that want to redevelop themselves after being closed or weakened.
  2. Chhote strata par (Organic farming subsidy) – In this scheme, the government will provide subsidy to the people who want to produce organic fertilizers, organic fertilizers and products related to organic farming etc. This scheme has been implemented by the government all over the country. After the verification of DAC is fully completed, the grant money will be disbursed by NCDC and NABARD keeping in view the following requirements. For this scheme, 50 percent discount will be given by the government in the form of subsidy, which will be transferred to the applicant with the help of the bank.
  3. Textile Industries – Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme – Government will also help jute industry under this scheme. The main objective of this scheme is to promote art related industries in India, this scheme will help people who want to start their business in artistic field. Not only this, the government has also made provision for providing subsidy for design and textile industries. It is paid by the government at the regular rate of interest, in addition to which the government will contribute 5 per cent considering the change in interest on the basis of FCL. An additional subsidy of 15% will be given to SSI and 20% to the handloom sector with credit link, 10% for machinery and 5% to reduce interest burden.
  4. Scheme for Technology Upgradation/Establishment for Food Processing Industries – Government has announced this scheme to improve the food industry and establish new industries as well as upgrade them. All industries including poultry, milk, meat, agriculture, food, fisheries and fruits have been covered under this scheme. The Government of India has promised 25 percent rebate on plant and machinery, which can range from ? 25 to ? 50 lakh depending on the sector. Some other industries like spices, dyes, flavors have been included in this scheme. So that the quality of food can be further improved.
  5. Development of Leather Industry – With the help of this scheme, the government will help the shoe and sandal manufacturing industries as well as all the industries whose products are related to leather. The main objective of this scheme is to strengthen the leather industry in India. In this scheme, the government will take steps to meet all types of needs, including setting up new companies and helping old companies. In this, if a company wants to take its business to a new level, there is a provision from the government for that too. Those who want to start a leather industry business should submit their documents and company documents to the concerned government office. The benefit of this scheme can be availed only after checking all the documents. Along with this you also need to submit documents related to NOC. The government is going to benefit only those people, whose company is already established, along with their registration as per the rules.
  6. CLCSS (Technical Upgradation and Capital Linked Scheme) for credit lines (Credit Linked Capital Subsidy) – For any industry to run smoothly, it is necessary to constantly improve the technology used in it. Which keeps the value of the industry in the market and helps to face the competitors. This scheme is being run by the Ministry of SSI (Small Industries), so small enterprises should take advantage of it and upgrade their company. There is a great possibility of increasing efficiency in the industries due to this scheme. Under this program, entrepreneurs opening a new company will get only up to 15 percent subsidy, but the limit has been kept at a maximum of 15 lakhs. In this scheme, the government has allowed large, small and limited companies to avail the benefits. In this, business startups can use this amount to improve their machinery and plant.
  7. Market Development Assistance Scheme for MSMEs – Through this scheme, the government will provide assistance for marketing, i.e. subsidize expenses for participating in various world-class trade fairs and exhibitions related to new technologies. In this scheme, the government will provide money to the entrepreneurs to subsidize the cost of participating in the fairs organized by the export entrepreneurs, the amount will be paid by the MSMEs when the fairs are organized. For this the Government of India will provide up to 75 per cent as subsidy, which will be deposited by any company as registration fee or annual fee. The government will provide this exemption or subsidy for 3 years only.
  8. Technology & Quality Upgradation Support for MSMEs – With the help of this scheme, the government is trying to help MSMEs to improve the quality and technology of their products. To be eligible for this scheme, MSME or ISO certification must be registered. The applicant's company should have ISO 9000-HACCP, ISO 14001 certification, then the government will grant the subsidy, the main goal of which is to increase production by improving technology. Not only this, besides saving energy through this scheme, the government wants to strengthen the business globally and locally.
  9. Mini Tools Room and Training Center Scheme – Government of India has already started many schemes to improve the qualification. Through this scheme, a training and equipment center under the government has been run to provide assistance. If any person wants to open this center, the government will provide financial assistance in the form of subsidy. 9 crore or up to 90 percent subsidy will be given by the government to the beneficiary under this scheme. For equipment improvement, the amount is fixed at Rs 50 crore, or the beneficiary will get 75 per cent of the total cost as subsidy. With the help of this scheme, the government is trying to provide employment to new engineers, laborers and uneducated people by opening good laboratories. This will change the way of working in industries and increase the chances of getting qualified employees.
  10. Government Subsidy for Small Business from NSIC – In this scheme, the government will help small businesses to purchase raw materials, and provide two types of subsidies, one for raw materials and the other for marketing assistance. Its purpose is to lead companies towards making high quality products. Funds provided through this scheme can be used to purchase raw materials and manufacture indigenous goods. For product marketing, Government of India and NSIC will jointly provide financial assistance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. In this scheme, the government will give equal attention to both product quality and product marketing.
  11. Subsidy for Small Business for Cold Chain – The main objective of this scheme is to strengthen their infrastructure and establish them in the market. With the help of this scheme, the government will provide full financial support to the cold chain industry to improve their units and connect more customers. In this scheme, funds will be provided for the improvement of cooling equipment like old coolers, reefer vans (cooling trucks or vehicles), cooling units etc. In this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance to all industries related to organic industries, processing units, marine products industries, fisheries, and meat, besides all these SHCs, NGOs, FPOs, organizations and groups will also be given benefits.
  12. Coconut Producing Units or TMOC (Coconut Producing Units Development Scheme) – This scheme is being run by TMOC to promote technological improvement in coconut producing industries. The main objective of the Coconut Development Board is to transform technology and provide high quality. Every person who wants to set up a coconut related industry will benefit from this scheme, the government will provide technical assistance in lieu of duty transferred to the scheme. Almost all businesses related to coconut have been placed under this scheme, mainly industries like coconut water industry, food trade, coconut oil production, dry milk products and coconut power have been covered.
  13. SAMPADA Scheme for Agro-Marine Produce Processing – SAMPADA Scheme for Agro-Marine Produce Processing – A SAMPADA scheme has been run by the government to promote the development and production of agro-marine products. Accordingly, there has been an equal focus on new and old food manufacturing companies. In this scheme, the government has prepared a good budget for the welfare of farmers, with a budget of around 6000 crores. Under this scheme, the government wants to double the income of farmers, and also save money wasted on food.
  14. Government Subsidy for Dairy Farming- Opening of dairy farms and strengthening of farms has been kept under NABARD subsidy scheme. In this scheme, the government will focus on milk production, animal husbandry and organic manure production. The scheme will give special attention to milk production as well as animal husbandry like rabbit rearing or goat rearing etc., dung gas, agricultural production etc. will provide opportunities.
  15. Baghwani Ke Liye Subsidy (Government Subsidy for Horticulture) – For horticulture, the government established NHB in 1984, whose main objective was to develop and apply technology in horticulture and crop maintenance. The government has run this scheme to subsidize marketing, conservation, structure and management of horticulture produce. So that the person starting this business can get financial help.

Eligibility for Laghu Vyavsay Yojana 2023

  • The beneficiary should be from the Scheduled Caste (SC) Community.
  • Annual family income of the beneficiary(ies) should not exceed Double the Poverty Line (DPL) income limit (presently 98,000/- per annum for rural areas and Rs. 1,20,000/- per annum for urban areas).

  • Within 6 years, in quarterly installments from the date of each disbursement including moratorium period.
